Focal Point #1

A Focal point needs to capture the attention of someone. This fireplace is doing that with the VERY dark wall color (only used on one wall)  as a backdrop for the crisp white fireplace.  I like to add mirrored surfaces and glass to reflect light and add a little sparkle, which also captures the eye. The round mirror adds a little curve to the very linear lines of the brick and mantel (which I painted out white to update the fireplace's look). : )
