Headboard/bedding

I loved the look of my headboard, but wanted something that would pop against the brown walls better. So I refinished the headboard in a black and then stained the top rail a dark umber and added accents of white in the cuts and moldings to bring out the detail that I loved so much. I love the way it looks with my very simple white bedding which is just a down comforter without a coverlet and comfy white sheets (I mixed up the pillow cases, using white for a couple and a grey for the others...I like mixing and matching sheets). I added the color through grey and brown decorative pillows and throw (Oh, I threw a little purple in there, as well to give it a more modern look). : )
