Foyer Flip.

If you haven't figured it out already, you should know I love to change the look and decor in my house.  My foyer is no exception. My foyer use to be a mix of a bunch of neutrals with very little contrast or pop. I believe that the first thing someone sees when they enter your home gives them a lasting impression for the feel of the rest of the home. My foyer was boring and sort of HO-HUM. I wanted PIZAZZ! After having redone my stairs, I wanted my foyer to compliment the new look, since they both encompass the same space.  So I painted the half and facing walls  the same dark color as the stair treads and to add that POP, I found an inexpensive (assemble yourself) shelf in a bright white. To connect the stairs with the foyer, I decided to take the same grass cloth wallpaper and backed the cabinet with it. This neutral color is then picked up again in the bench cushion fabric, lampshade. And picture frame.  The mirror above the shelf adds just a bit of glam and sparkle!
