Roadside Find

Just because a dresser is missing a few drawers, doesn't mean that it is meant for the garbage, but that is where I found this old dresser. So, because my daughter was in need of a new dresser, I picked it up. I repainted the whole thing and topped it off with a coat of stain that I rubbed on and off again to give it an antique look. Then added new hardware and found some great looking baskets (you can also use storage bins) that fit into the old drawer slots. I like the way the baskets give it a warmer look, adding texture to the piece. Adding storage bins and foregoing the stain would give it a more modern look. : )
