Kids Room Storage

Storage in a kid's room can be tricky, especially a boy's room...you need it low enough so it is easily accessible, sturdy (as not to be pulled or knocked over), and you want it to look nice. I found that the best solution was not just one specific piece, but a combination of a couple different pieces. I found two different assemble yourself cabinets (that you can find at any big box store). I got Two of the darker shelves, laid them side-by-side, and turned the other white one on it's side (normally meant to work vertically). I added storage bins (two of the same) on each level and baskets on the top to add interest. I topped it off with a display of my son's toys, and it works like a charm (and it's an original). : )
