Sometimes there are unsightly things in your home that you might prefer NOT to see everyday. I had a phone cord jack that was installed at eye level in my kitchen (not sure why). It also happened to be the same jack that all of our computer cords were hooked to. So, I came up with a solution...a small shallow storage cabinet to hide all the cords leading up to the outlet (with a collection of items on top tall enough to hide the cords running up. (I also used a cord cover to keep it all neat). The shelves were then installed in between the jack and hidden behind wine bottles. You would never know. : )
FYI: The shelves are simply store bought inexpensive brackets with slats of wood laid across the top.
