Bathroom Facelift

My bathroom was your basic builder grade bathroom with ugly cabinets, big nondescript mirror, and not so great lighting. I repainted the cabinets a dark brown, almost black color (looks really sharp and crisp against the white counter top). I added some antique cabinet hardware that I painted silver. I added a narrow shelf with height to set in between the sinks to separate the two work areas..also good storage. ( I would even recommend something taller if possible). I think the color of the narrow shelf ties in well with the lower cabinet's color. I added two small decorative lights on either side for added charm and some clear glass jars on the side wall to hold bathroom necessities. Last but not least, I bought two medium size inexpensive picture frames with the same dark finish as the lower cabinets and installed them at face level above each sink to give the illusion of two separate mirrors. : )
