Focal Point #2

When you have a very large wall space to decorate, it becomes a challenge. I created this vinyet in my dining room, using a  combination of items working in balance with one another.  One large mirror to reflect light swanked by to fairly large pictures (that I took of my kids and enlarged in classic black and white) on either side. Underneath, I displayed two matching lights with reflective bases  and added other objects that had a reflective quality or sheen...milky white vases, in contrast with high gloss black candlesticks and various sizes of picture frames, (all in the same metallic finish).  All of this is displayed on top of a very large, but not too deep console/dresser, to which I added a very inexpensive mirror (normally used for the back of doors)on top for more reflection in a room that doesn't have a lot of light.
