Dining Room

I like to paint accent walls a darker color. I did so with a very dark grey here on opposite walls. I propped up two old Shutters in the far corner to act as a folding screen, which also add character to the dead corner space. I like to used two different curtain panels (one light and one dark)...cut them each in half and create four separate panels that contrast one another, giving  the space a more sharp, tailored look. A neutral rug shows up well against the dark floors and adds more contrast. I like to use different head chairs...this one is an outdoor wicker chair that works well with the wicker chair in the other corner. : )
