Kitchen Cabinet Facelift

If you have a kitchen where the cabinets are worn and outdated or even just plain boring, they can be updated and it isn't an impossible task. My old cabinets had a horrible stain on them that I couldn't stand and made it hard to decorate around. So I removed all of the doors and drawers and numbered them so I could put them back in their correct place. I sanded down all of the doors and drawers and their outer frames. I put two coats of a very dark brown paint on each and finished it off with a couple coats of polyurethane and modern knobs and handles...Instant Change!! (And way more fun to decorate around) : )
FYI: I have three kids, a husband, and a dog, and they've held up nicely for years! However, keeping a little bit of the paint for small touch-ups (if any) is always a good idea : )
